"It was my privilege and great pleasure to serve as your President in our Club’s
135th year. The National Club members are
the heart and soul of this Club.
The mandate of the 'MBP' is to increase the roster of benefits the
Club offers its members and to incentivize and reward member usage. We
have secured some great corporate rates with companies around the city and ask
that if any members have suggestions on their preferred companies, please send
them to
Brigitte Hyslop.

BOTTLED WATER - NATIONAL CLUB STYLE
The Club is going green!
In an effort to provide the very
best in member satisfaction and enjoyment, the National Club will provide
in-house filtered sparkling, and still water to our members in all the
dining rooms, at no additional cost to you.
Health Canada says, “There have been claims that polyethylene terephthalate
(PET or PETE) plastic used in single use water bottles breaks down when used
repeatedly releasing cancer-causing chemicals. However, Health Canada has
seen no scientific evidence to suggest that reusing PET bottles will
contribute harmful levels of chemicals and toxins to the water. Health
Canada has also concluded that the levels of Bisphenol A detected in water
bottled in polycarbonate do not pose a health concern.”
Regardless of this disclaimer, The National Club cares about you, and will
do everything in our power to ensure the safety and health of our members
and their guests. We believe this step in eliminating purchased single use
plastic, and glass bottles of sparkling and still waters, is both a healthy
and environmentally friendly choice, and we hope you agree.
Please ask your server for more details today, and Enjoy your water!
